Vinos Malaparte is run by Ruben and Elisa, two young winemakers working in Castilla y Leon, a region better known for powerful, heavy and conventional wines than for low-intervention bottlings.

Their name reflects their position: deliberately apart from the mainstream. They are helping show that natural wine can exist in this landscape, producing expressive, fresh and characterful wines while encouraging other growers to rethink what the region can become by teaching them how to work naturally.
