Why We Love It
We love Serre M'amphore because Gamay gains extra texture and depth from amphora while keeping Romain's signature joy and drinkability.
Description
Serre M'amphore is a Gamay shaped by amphora, giving the wine more texture, savoury detail and structure than a simple glou-glou red. It remains fresh and alive, but with an added mineral and earthy dimension that makes it especially food-friendly.

About the Producer
Romain des Grottes is one of the true originals of the natural wine world. Based in the rolling hills of Beaujolais near Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières, he produces vibrant, living wines that challenge conventions while remaining irresistibly drinkable. His wines are bubbly, slim, joyful and radically original, made from Gamay and unusual hybrids. Beyond wine, Romain also grows cereals, makes beer and non-alcoholic creations, and famously brings a piano on wheels into the vineyards during harvest and the Bojalien festival.
