Why We Love It
We love Metamorphika Chenin Blanc because it challenges expectations: Chenin Blanc in Catalonia, bottled beautifully, and made with the precision that defines Costador.
Description
Metamorphika Chenin Blanc uses skin-contact Chenin Blanc to combine texture, freshness and aromatic complexity. It opens with bright citrus, crisp green apple and wild herbs, followed by dried flowers, tea leaf and savoury spice from the maceration. The palate is lively and textured, with zesty acidity, orchard fruit and a gentle saline edge.

About the Producer
Costador, led by Joan Franquet, works with old vineyards across Catalonia to create wines of striking personality and precision. The Metamorphika range is immediately recognisable for its beautiful ceramic bottles and artwork, but the true achievement is the quality inside: wines that are precise, clean, expressive and deeply gastronomic. Costador proves that low-intervention wine can be both characterful and exceptionally polished, which is why the wines have found their way into some of Catalonia's finest restaurants, including Michelin-starred tables.
