Why We Love It
We love Orange de Noirs because Sumoll and Xarel.lo Vermell create one of Costador's most layered and unusual orange wines.
Description
Orange de Noirs brings together Sumoll and Xarel.lo Vermell in a complex orange wine. The different vinification of the two grapes adds layers and depth: straight acidity, high minerality, rounded tannins, smokiness, orange zest, rosemary and peach. It is limited, gastronomic and full of detail.

About the Producer
Costador, led by Joan Franquet, works with old vineyards across Catalonia to create wines of striking personality and precision. The Metamorphika range is immediately recognisable for its beautiful ceramic bottles and artwork, but the true achievement is the quality inside: wines that are precise, clean, expressive and deeply gastronomic. Costador proves that low-intervention wine can be both characterful and exceptionally polished, which is why the wines have found their way into some of Catalonia's finest restaurants, including Michelin-starred tables.
